Santana Goes Wild, But Cougars Win
The Houston Cougars had to overcome a big game from Louisiana-Layfayette designated hitter Bryant Santana to leave Suns Ballpark with a 10-9 victory. Santana was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Houston reliever Eric Bogen picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Bryan Lee was collared with the loss. Jesus Martinez closed the door for Houston, picking up his 1st save of the year.
