Gators Walk Off with Win
|
Despite a great performance by Miami shortstop Ryan Murphy, the Florida Gators defeated the Hurricanes by the score of 12-8 at Ballpark of Bismarck College. Murphy hit 2 home runs. Florida has a mark of 1-1 after the win.
Logan Ballengee was the walk-off hero for Florida. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Gators left fielder hit a dramatic grand slam home run to send the teams home.
"This joint was rocking," said Ballengee.
