Yellow Jackets Roll to 8-0 Win Over Commodores
|
The exploits of third baseman Ross Worsham helped the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defeat the Vanderbilt Commodores, 8-0. Worsham went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Yellow Jackets hope to make a postseason run.
Worsham had a key at-bat for Georgia Tech early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Georgia Tech an early 2-0 lead.
