Horned Frogs Throttle 49'ers, 7-1

The TCU Horned Frogs beat the Long Beach State 49'ers, 7-1, at Ballpark of Macclenny College. The Horned Frogs got a fine performance from designated hitter Christian Brown, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs. David Raponi was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. TCU has a mark of 1-1 after the win.
