Longhorns Beat Tigers in 10
|
Crowds lined up early in front of South Paris College Grounds, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2034 USA NCAA DIVISION I season. On the mound was Joe Arnt for the visiting Texas Longhorns and Blake Orlando for the hometown LSU Tigers. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1 innings.
Pat Green aided the Texas cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
