Victory Pushes Sting Record to 90-72
Houston met Bel Air in a late-season showdown at Woodland Park.

Calvin Moton made an impact in the 6-2 Houston win over Bel Air. Moton was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs. The Sting bumped their record to 90-72 with this latest triumph.

The Sting got a big at-bat from second baseman James Vance. For the game, Vance was 1 for 3 with a triple. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Houston a 1-0 lead.

"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," Vance told the Houston Bulletin.
