The Jedi Knights grabbed a win, 4-2, at Grand Canyon Valley Park, overcoming a fine effort from Boise pitcher Francisco Martínez. Martínez went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Curt Irvan notched his 9th save in 10 chances. New Orleans has now won 7 in a row.

Efrain Mejia had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth for the Jedi Knights. Coming up with the bases loaded and New Orleans trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"It feels good to get this one," Mejia told the New Orleans Daily News.
