The Bethesda Hornets had to overcome a big game from Eugene left fielder Wil Cruz to leave Prefontaine Park with a 11-6 victory. Cruz went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The last-place Hornets lifted their record to 73-87.

Ryoji Nakai came through for Bethesda with a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. The left fielder went 3 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 RBI.
