The Taos Blizzard scored a 3-2 win versus the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws at Penlee Park. Taos pitcher Jose Fernandez nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Charlie Cruz got the save, his 22nd in 26 chances. The Blizzard raised their record to 77-83.

Tony Hernandes made it 3-2 in favor of Taos when he delivered a run-scoring double. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Blizzard went on to win.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Taos manager Vincent Crockett.
