The Okanagan Lake Monsters met little resistance from the Kingwood Knights, beating them 12-3 at Stable Park. Adam Kemp led the way. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Okanagan. The Lake Monsters bumped their record to 86-72 with this latest triumph.

Kemp had a key at-bat for Okanagan early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Okanagan an early 3-0 lead.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Kemp.
