The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws took St. Petersburg pitcher Juan Gonzales's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Billy Mathews Field. The final score had West Virginia getting past the Pelicans, 2-1. Gonzales went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 9. Edgar Alvarez was the winning pitcher.
