Princes Rally to Eke Out Win
Philip Banks Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Bel Air Princes and the Eugene Emeralds.

The Eugene Emeralds got a superb performance from center fielder Carlos Munoz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Bel Air. The Princes won the game, 8-7. In spite of the loss, Munoz was named the player of the game. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place Princes have won 5 straight.

The Princes got a big at-bat from left fielder Félix León. For the game, León was 1-2. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 35th hit of the season gave Bel Air a 8-7 lead.

"We're in the driver's seat," said León. "I like our chances."
