Mustangs third baseman Jody Owens put his stamp on his team's 13-5 win over the Boise Bloodhounds. Owens was 2-6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for San Angelo in the contest. The Mustangs have an impressive 99-56 record.

Owens had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Mustangs went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Owens told reporters after the game.
