St. Petersburg right-hander Rudy Brisson was sensational in shutting out the Taos Blizzard, 3-0. St. Petersburg reliever Rudy Brisson got the win, raising his record to 5-6. Jose Fernandez was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Pelicans improved to 58-97.

The Pelicans prevailed in a game in which the pitchers had the upper hand.

"I really like what we did out there today," Brisson said after the game.
