Efrain Mejia helped his team muscle past the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-3. In the game, the New Orleans catcher was 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Jedi Knights now have a mark of 86-67.
Mejia had a key at-bat for New Orleans early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was his 107th hit of the season and gave New Orleans an early 2-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Mejia told the New Orleans Daily News.
