Bush Wackers Stymie West Virginia, Take 3-1 Win
The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Bill Schindler, who stifled the West Virginia offense en route to a 3-1 Bush Wackers win at Baylor Ballpark. Jose Laracuente was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 25 of 29 save opportunities. With the win, the Bush Wackers improved to 73-79.

The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Victor Huaracha. For the game, Huaracha was 1 for 4. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 46th hit of the season gave Brisbane a 1-0 lead.

Huaracha said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
