The Barrow Frosties defeated the Taos Blizzard, 9-4, at The Igloo today. Leading the charge for Barrow was left fielder Gregorio Mora. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Bob Tamez got credit for the win, improving to 10-9. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. The Frosties bumped their record to 77-75 with this latest triumph.

Angelo Hurtado aided the Barrow cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
