Welborn Dazzles in West Virginia Win
|
Andrew Welborn pitched a gem to lead West Virginia to a 3-1 victory over the Brisbane Bush Wackers. John Swope notched his 6th save in 7 chances. The Dancin' Outlaws saw their win-loss record go to 69-81. At the same time, the Bush Wackers fell to 72-79.
Welborn allowed no earned runs on 7 hits over 8 innings for the Dancin' Outlaws. He walked 0 and struck out 8.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Welborn told the West Virginia Today.
