Winfield designated hitter Dave Espinoza made his presence felt in the 7-3 Warriors triumph over the Boise Bloodhounds. Espinoza went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Boise's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

Espinoza had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 cutter from Nick Burdette, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Warriors a 3-2 lead. It was the 13th double of the year for Espinoza.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Espinoza told the Winfield Observer.
