Eugene Emeralds starter Wayne Sweeney was in fine form against the Tree City Black Squirrels at The Nut House, leading his team to a 3-1 win. In 5 innings, Sweeney surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Tatsuji Kudo notched his 24th save in 31 chances.
