Brisbane starter Eddy Compres pitched effectively against the Taos Blizzard at The Igloo. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The Bush Wackers saw their win-loss record go to 72-78. At the same time, the Blizzard fell to 72-77.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when designated hitter Jake Polander, who is tied for 6th in the DML with a .306 batting average, hit a single. The Bush Wackers went on to win.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Taos skipper Vincent Crockett, "and it cost us."
