The Boise Bloodhounds got a sterling performance from left fielder Jeffrey Lyons, but the Gnats still prevailed, 6-4. Lyons was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 2-2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Emilio Aguinaga, who threw 97 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits.
