Bush Wackers Win at Taos, 9-4
|
Despite a great performance by Taos right fielder Mike Carter, the Brisbane Bush Wackers defeated the Blizzard by the score of 9-4 at The Igloo. Carter went 1-1 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Brisbane reliever Billy Boyd was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Javier Polanco. Brisbane has now won 3 in a row.
Victor Huaracha hit a run-scoring triple off Javier Polanco in the top of the first, which put the Bush Wackers in front, 1-0. Huaracha had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 6.
