Long gets 5 RBI as Knights Squeeze Past Charleston
The Kingwood Knights dealt the Charleston Panthers a 7-6 loss at Stable Park. Zachary Long was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Kingwood reliever Matt Fernandez picked up the win to move to 4-0. Zach Hensler suffered the loss. The Knights move to 73-74 with the win, while the Panthers drop to 66-83.

Long had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Zach Hensler, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Knights a 7-6 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Long.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Long.
