Barrow beat Tree City in a rain-soaked ballgame.
The Barrow Frosties topped the Tree City Black Squirrels, 5-3, in Donnie Moore League action at The Nut House. The player of the game was Barrow pitcher Bob Tamez. The Frosties bumped their record to 74-73 with this latest triumph.
Matt Arendse chipped in for Barrow with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
