O'Donohue Dazzles in Victoria Win
|
The Victoria Vikings topped the Chippewa River Chiefs, 3-1, in Lyman Bostock League action at The drakkar. The player of the game was Victoria pitcher Dave O'Donohue. Jean-François Blot converted his 18th save in 21 tries. Victoria currently is in 4th place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 60-87.
O'Donohue was effective against the River Chiefs, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The left-hander limited Chippewa to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"We'll enjoy this win," said O'Donohue. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
