The inspired effort of Coney Island right fielder Greg Dimon was not enough to prevent a 10-8 loss to the San Angelo Mustangs. Dimon was 4 for 5 with 3 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The second-place Cyclones have lost 4 straight games.

Vince Fest, who was drafted in the three round of the 2034 draft, aided the San Angelo cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder went 3-5 with 3 singles.

"It feels good to get this one," Fest told the San Angelo Bulletin.
