Bush Wackers Deal Bloodhounds Painful Loss
|
The Boise Bloodhounds got a superb performance from pitcher Cory Roberts, but the Brisbane Bush Wackers still won the game, 3-2. Roberts was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Brisbane occupies 4th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division at 68-76.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Brisbane trailing 2-1, Ta-heng Wang hit a cutter from Justin Bolling to right for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Bush Wackers had a walk-off win.
"This place was rockin'," Wang said.
