Mustangs Fall Short at Houston
The San Angelo Mustangs got a superb performance from pitcher Gabriel Mullin, but the Houston Sting still won the game, 5-4. Mullin was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings allowing 4 runs. Houston reliever Austin Hearn picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jason Graves absorbed the loss. The Sting bumped their record to 78-66 with this latest triumph.

The Sting got a big at-bat from center fielder Calvin Moton. For the game, Moton was 1 for 2. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 41st hit of the season gave Houston a 5-4 lead.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Moton.
