Road Warriors Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus St. Paul
|
It was a good time at Road Warriors Field, where fans came to watch the St. Paul Saints and Westside Road Warriors get after it.
The Westside Road Warriors picked up a win at Road Warriors Field, knocking off the St. Paul Saints, 6-2. Starting pitcher Ruud ten Napel was an essential part of his team's success. Pat Meskill notched his 3rd save in 7 chances.
The Road Warriors got a big at-bat from center fielder Tom Coleman. For the game, Coleman was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 98th hit of the season gave Westside a 3-2 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Coleman told the Westside Chronicle.
The Road Warriors bumped their record to 80-61 with this latest triumph.
