The Taos Blizzard topped the Boise Bloodhounds, 9-4, with youngster George Nash playing a key role. Nash was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Blizzard in the win. At 67-73, the Blizzard are currently third in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.

Taos used the bat of Brent Driggs to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blizzard ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Driggs told the Taos Bulletin.
