The Hawaii Islanders scored a 2-1 win versus the Brooklyn Black Knights at Blue Ivy Stadium. Hawaii pitcher Norogumi Yokoyama nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Islanders bumped their record to 38-27 with this latest triumph.

Antonio Roman aided the Hawaii cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4 with a double.

"I really like what we did out there today," Yokoyama said after the game.
