The Bloodhounds grabbed a win, 2-1, at Elks Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Okanagan pitcher Henry Baker. Baker went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Bloodhounds saw their win-loss record go to 55-85. At the same time, the Lake Monsters fell to 73-65.

Had Ben Wollney not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Wollney hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Bloodhounds.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wollney said.
