Mustangs Win in Glorious Fashion
San Angelo right-hander Sam Young made an effective start against the Kingwood Knights at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, leading his team to a 6-5 win. San Angelo reliever Moises Ramirez picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Chris Ruffner was saddled with the loss. Kingwood, at 68-69, has lost 5 straight.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when San Angelo catcher Kyle Higgins, facing Chris Ruffner, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Mustangs the 6-5 win.

"This is a resilient bunch," said San Angelo manager Clyde Bowman.
