The first-place San Angelo Mustangs took on the Kingwood Knights at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.

The San Angelo Mustangs topped the Kingwood Knights by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Vince Fest. Fest went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Mustangs on the day. Moises Ramirez converted his 2nd save in 3 tries.
