Frosties Win in Extras
|
Barrow Frosties starter Fidel Betancourt was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Eugene Emeralds, 2-1. The Frosties bumped their record to 72-66 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Barrow designated hitter Brian Douglas, facing Tatsuji Kudo, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Frosties the 2-1 win.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Douglas said.
