Rodriguez Goes Wild, But Gnats Win
Despite a great performance by St. Paul designated hitter Alex Rodriguez, the Nichols Gnats defeated the Saints by the score of 15-10 at The Pond. Rodriguez went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Nichols currently is in last place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 50-83.

In the bottom of the third, Nichols second baseman Luis Munoz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Munoz stroked a bases-clearing double to right. It made the score 8-3, Nichols. For the game, he was 2-2 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Munoz told the Nichols Herald.
