Boise pitcher Francisco Martínez did his part in helping his team beat the Coney Island Cyclones, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Boise currently is in 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 53-84.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Boise first baseman Mike Rudowski, facing John Welch, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bloodhounds the 3-2 win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Rudowski told the Boise Bulletin.
