Atlantic City starter Vinny Caballero pitched effectively against the Bethesda Hornets at The Royal Colosseum. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Atlantic City reliever Tom Greer picked up the win, upping his record to 7-5. Franck Guillaume absorbed the loss. Bethesda has now lost 5 in a row.

John Phillips was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Atlantic City manager Wynn Decker.
