Road Warriors Stun Blizzard, 4-3

The Westside Road Warriors did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Taos Blizzard at The Igloo. Nobody did more than pitcher Cole Moore, who captured player of the game honors. Westside has now won 4 games in a row.
Westside used the bat of Wallace Hampton to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Road Warriors ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.
Taos manager Vincent Crockett said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
