The Barrow Frosties got a stellar performance from pitcher Toyoshige Konda, who handcuffed the Bel Air offense en route to a 3-2 win at The Blizzard Bowl. Barrow reliever Tom Best picked up the win, upping his record to 8-4. Toru Saito took the loss. Barrow now has a 3-game win streak.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Barrow catcher Pedro Paredes, facing Mike Godin, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Frosties the 3-2 win.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Paredes said.
