Saints Lose to Bush Wackers in Walk Off
The Brisbane Bush Wackers beat the St. Paul Saints, 7-4, at Baylor Ballpark. Brisbane left fielder Marcos Marquez earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Joel Savage picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-4. Blake Connell was tagged with the loss. The third-place Bush Wackers are now 63-69, the Saints 63-70.

Brisbane won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Blake Connell on the mound for St. Paul, center fielder Willie Hayes hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Bush Wackers fans to their feet.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Hayes told the Brisbane Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
