Kings Prevail, 7-5, Over New Orleans
|
Atlantic City played host to New Orleans at the friendly confines of The Royal Colosseum.
Atlantic City third baseman Ron Gale was instrumental in his team's 7-5 win over the New Orleans Jedi Knights. Gale, who was drafted in the three round of the 2031 draft, went 2-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Kings. Atlantic City improves to 79-50 with the win. They lead their division by 14 games.
John Phillips chipped in for Atlantic City with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Gale said after the game.
