Benefiting from Oscar Saenz's productive game, the Coney Island Cyclones downed the Taos Blizzard, 5-3. Saenz was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Cyclones. The Cyclones bumped their record to 72-59 with this latest triumph.

Saenz had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Jose Fernandez, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Cyclones a 4-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Saenz.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Saenz told the Coney Island Today. "You win just by scoring more runs."
