The Winfield Warriors defeated the Barrow Frosties, 7-5, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Blizzard Bowl, with Winfield pitcher Jose Reyes named player of the game. Luis Navarro picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-6. Tom Best was tagged with the loss. With the win over Barrow, the Warriors improved to 59-71.

Wilson Gonzalez hit a 2-run double off Tom Best in the top of the 11th, which put the Warriors in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Gonzalez had 2 singles and 1 walk, while going 3 for 5.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Reyes.
