Kelch Shines in Princes Win
|
The Bel Air Princes beat the Winfield Warriors, 6-3, at The Barn. Bel Air first baseman Aaron Kelch earned player of the game honors. He collected 1 single and 3 doubles, while driving in 3 runs. Miguel Serbin picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 9. On the season, he is now 10-5. Toru Saito was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 25 save opportunities.
Kelch had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Princes went on to win.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Kelch. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
