Panthers Get Close Win Over Blizzard
The Charleston Panthers defeated the Taos Blizzard, 5-3. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Eiji Ouye, who hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win boosts the Panthers to 55-75. The loss puts the Blizzard at 60-68.

Ouye had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 3-1 changeup from Charlie Cruz, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Panthers a 5-3 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Ouye.
