Victoria left-hander Dave O'Donohue made an effective start against the Brisbane Bush Wackers at The drakkar, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Jean-François Blot earned his 16th save in 19 chances. Victoria occupies 4th place in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division at 52-76.

Kazumi Inoue had a big 2-run double for the Vikings in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Victoria leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from Frank Patton and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 17th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Vikings ahead, 4-0.

O'Donohue told a Victoria News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
