Frosties Come Back Late, Nip Knights
|
Barrow third baseman Steve Clark had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Kingwood Knights, 7-6. Barrow reliever Josh Shumpert picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Domingo Rueda absorbed the loss. The Frosties bumped their record to 65-63 with this latest triumph.
Clark had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Domingo Rueda, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Frosties a 7-6 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Clark.
"Feels good to get the job done," Clark said after the game.
