Panthers Lose, 5-2, at Coney Island Coliseum

Coney Island designated hitter Devon LeBrecht made his presence felt in the 5-2 Cyclones triumph over the Charleston Panthers. LeBrecht was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Coney Island reliever Steve Nigro picked up the win, bumping his record to 6-0. Tim Gresham was collared with the loss. Takamasa Oki converted his 29th save in 35 tries.
Coney Island grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when LeBrecht hit a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season put the Cyclones out in front, 4-2.
"It feels good to get this one," LeBrecht told the Coney Island Today.
The Cyclones bumped their record to 69-57 with this latest triumph.
